Microsoft ownz google search for 'http'

I noticed an interesting thing today when I mistyped an address in firefox 'http//www.cnn.com'. A Microsoft page came up instead of cnn. I was surprised both that neither did the cnn page did not come up, nor that an error was displayed. I did a little research with my trusty network analyzer ethereal and found that that the browser does an 'I am feeling lucky' search against google with a string of 'http'. Strangely this displays the microsoft home page. Pretty darn 'lucky' for MS I think. If I were the w3c I would be a little pissed. Shame on both Google and Microsoft. And Shame on Mozilla for being naive at least. I hate crap like that. Now I have to find a way to turn it off :-)
